ABOUT

J.Winfield Heckert is an award-winning film and video  producer located in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Heckert began making films at the age of fourteen. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through his degree in Film and Journalism and his ten year career working as a professional videographer.

 

He began filming weddings in 2009 and has freelanced with a dozen large and small wedding videography studios and is now offering his services direct to the public.

 

Heckert specializes in vintage Super8 wedding films and photo-journalistic style wedding videos.

 

The Super8 package will appeal to the vintage bride looking for the classic home movies feel. The film can be projected or transferred to DVD for all to enjoy. The Photo-Journalistic package offers a hands off, fly on the wall approach to capturing your most important moments.

 

Heckert is not just a wedding videographer; he is also a talented filmmaker and has produced several short films and is currently working on his first full length feature, "In the House of Madness" (16mm). He directed and shot, “Technically Deceased” (16mm) and “Rockabilly High School” (16mm) as well as two of Brett Ryan Stewart's music videos “Home” (16mm) and “Face to Face” (Super8). He has worked for major cable networks like QVC, and currently freelances on regional and national commercials.

Freelance Cinematographer

Filmed DSLR B-roll for TV Documentary entitled "The Will" episode 3. Following a shot list I captured establishing shots of factual locations in Newark and Wilmington, Delaware to be used in a court case reenactment style program.

 

NFL FILMS

Freelance Art Department, Philadelphia, PA

Located and transported a 1958 Chevy Bel-air for hero car used in a Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial set in the early 60's. Prepped and staged props and set pieces under direction of the Art director. Arranged and operated vintage autos under direction of the camera department.

 

QVC

Control Room Operator, West Chester, PA

Operated Jib and Handheld cameras during live broadcast. Operated the audio console and controlled the “Demo” and “Spot” video servers. Operated the “Peak” graphics system during live broadcast.
